Sorry about that Chris. I'll post it on Honda-Tech.

If I'm not home, sure, they win. Chances are, I'll be home.

I never realized your car ever left home either. It takes thieves no more than 5-10 seconds to disable an alarm, so if you're not there to chase somebody away with a baseball bat, you can kiss your car goodbye.

do you happen to have the vin and Liscense plate number? Some guys were asking so if they find it they can verify. Is the plate in those pics still the license plate #?

I've got 2 cars. I'll just follow them.

ziich Wrote:i'm not racist, but this statement is. i'm 90% sure they were hispanic. it has to do with me parking my car at a public park in front of a soccer field infested with the ones you can tell are up to no good. that was 2 days before the disappearance. so that's that

Dude, if you have to say "i'm not racist" before you make a statement then you might want to rethink it. "Infested" and "up to no good" aren't phrases qualifiable by anything other than predisposition.

*edit* Sorry about your car, though, that does suck a lot.

- Jeff - 10-26-2007

those dirty bastards...that's the nice thing about having cars (like mine) that no one wants to steal. I'm sorry about your car man, that really sucks. I hope they rot in hell.

wtf is it about Civics getting stolen and turning up in Rockville, Md? My roommates car got jacked from Herndon and they found it three weeks later up in MD.

- WRXtranceformed - 10-26-2007

Sorry bro that sucks. Here's what a local Subaru guy had to say:

"someone is building up an ek hatch. I guarantee it. They took the door panels and window regulators I bet and didn't need the glass because they have that. But needed the door panels and the switches for the power windows. Pulled the interior panels and guage cluster so they can use in a hatch."

when i used "infested" and "up to no good" i was merely referring to those that might be thieves regardless of race. it just so happens auto theft among hispanics gangs in this area is common. that's all. so yes it's stereotyping, it could be racism. but you tell me what you think when 30 heads turn and watch you as you park.

why'd they take the sunroof visor? good luck starting the motor with no ecu and using the radio with no code... although all those could be obtained elsewhere as well. this person seems to be good at obtaining things.

those pictures make me ill. i hate seeing anyone's car like that but those are just painful.

i agree, somebody will put those parts on a hatch most likely. i hope those degenerates get hit by a train.

ready to take this back now that it was found in Montgomery county
not so sure if I'm glad you found it or not, personally I wouldn't want any stolen car back.
