If you have previous experience flagging, is it still necessary to take the course? I don't mind, since it's been almost a year, but I'd like to know. If so, then I'll be taking the course as opposed to driving in October. Actually, come to think of it, I should probably go ahead and sign up as a worker instead of driving this weekend anyways, since I don't think I'll have the 240 ready.

Sooo, put me on the worker list as well, if there are any open slots for experienced flaggers. I'll just drive at the November event at Slummit.

- Dave - 09-30-2004

I went through this thread and picked up a list if all interested; listed in order of when they spoke up. We'll start a worker thread and sticky it after this season is over so we can start fresh (only 2 more events left anyways).
MM members who don't count toward our list: Christina, Matt, Kaan
MM members interested in working:
Navin
Blair
John
Jess
Jay Ray - flagging
Keith
Rex
Julie
Dave

If anybody is still interested, speak up so we can get it all figured out. As for the worker situation, if all of these people attend, that would be an additional 5 people beyond the standard MM complement of workers; more than enough to host a flagging course. Anybody else who is interested in ever working, I'd recommend coming and taking this course so that you will have access to flagging the next time you want to make some cash and come to the track.

Dave,

I think I need to be taken off the list, now with the car accident and all I doubt I'll be making it out there..

thanks

- .RJ - 09-30-2004

navin, just ride with me out there

- navin - 09-30-2004

I am also starting my job, I dont want to be taking off when I am just starting there..

I'd like to get more credits and chit, but I'm quite sure I should sit this one out. Plus it gives more new people the oppurtunity to work

- Chris - 09-30-2004

We talked this over, and we are going to use this list for the remainder of the NASA season (2 more events): Oct 23-24 and Nov. 6-7. Then we will start a new worker list for the next season in the Spring.

Blair
John
Jess
Jay Ray - (flagging, doesn't count towards list)
Keith
Rex
Julie
Dave (may flag)
Navin (not for Oct, but 1st on list for Nov.)

So Blair, John, Jess, and Keith- are you still able to work the Oct event? If not, we can move you down to the Nov. one.

John, if you and Jess can't make it- I'm sure Rex and Julie would like a turn.

**Also remember you can sign up for the flagging course at the Oct event and then get paid $150 each weekend you flag. There is also the option of just coming and working where needed and getting a hotel room and food if you want to see what track events are all about.**

- Mike - 10-01-2004

$150 for the weekend is as good as credits btw...

If Rex and Julie are able to make the Nov event, then we'll take this one. If not, we can do November and they can take the Oct event.

- Jewels - 10-01-2004

We'll have to check our work schedules but I appreciate you all being so accomodating.... Smile Thanks John and Jess!

I'm going to work today and checking my schedule... Rex and I don't need hotel rooms anyway cause my parents live in Winchester and it gives me an excuse to come home.

It would also probably be to my benefit to take the flagging course, if they have it... so, I guess just keep me in mind for either working or doing the flagging course. I'm open to whatever other people's schedules work out.

- racecontrol - 10-02-2004

Of course JJ and I would be available to do a flagging course.

you'd prob go up with us friday afternoon, so plan for that. I'll have to check about you working and taking the flagging course, but I'd assume you could fit in both.

Maeng- I'm planning on crashing on the floor of the worker room if I drive or flag. Not sure about other arrangements.

- damnit458 - 10-03-2004

ok sounds good to me. So ill go ahead and get that weekend off then.

I've worked out my normal situation, I have my own room as usual, and yes the keg will be there again Sat night (assuming of course it doesn't get killed at the track).

- Mike - 10-04-2004

the colder it gets, the less chance the keg will get kicked at the track.

- Seantn1k - 10-04-2004

Are signups still open?? I'm going to signup for myself and I may have someone else.

Dave did you get your book back yet?

Sean
