Alright, hi.
It's about that time of year where officer elections start getting discussed. Naturally, all of us aluMMni want to see who's running as we do get a vote in the election process.
So! Post up with your name, who you are/what you do, what you're running for, how you want things to change/improve/remain the same/etc for the upcoming school year, and be ready to answer questions from errybody on this forum.
I have no idea when elections are this year, but presumably someone else will post up with that date so we all know when to have our e-votes in by. Or maybe I'll have to hunt someone down. Either way, get to it!

Who are we sending our votes to? I'd feel more comfortable not sending it to someone who's running for an office for next year. So......?

After some consideration I am pulling out from running unfortunately. I was going to announce it to the current guys tonight at our meeting. I got the job as one of the JMU athletics editor/photographer leaving my already busy ass schedule filled more. So really there is no point for you guys to elect since all positions will be filled by default.

A slate can be approved as opposed to voting per say. Anyway, Garrett don't get too busy so you can't attend stuff, but that's a cool gig and hopefully we'll see you at some games in the fall. Otherwise, good luck to all the "new" officers. Looking forward to seeing the good things you all have planned.

Oh I'll definitely still be attending as much as I can. It's more of the planning aspect. I can't be the guy behind the scenes, at least not next year. It's been an awesome year and I don't have any doubts about the new officers and their ability and commitment to mm :thumbup:

Taylor, yep. I need to find some time before I leave for Haiti to go in and put in an application. I'll most likely only end up working there over the summer but if I enjoy it then I'll stick with it instead of my current job for next year.
