Fast Eight NoVa Viewing - Goodspeed - 04-21-2017
Jake and I were scheming the other day - who's up for another Nova aluMMni meet, this time to see Fast 8 next week? Let's pick an evening, grab some food/drinks and head to a theater that would be central-ish to everyone (I'm thinking AMC Tysons could be doable?)
The only one I didn't see in theaters thus far is Tokyo Drift, after the crushing disappointment of F&F2. I strayed from the path and have been paying a penance ever since, and vow to never miss another again.

This one looks terrible. Jess and I go to to the movies about once a year so we saved some tickets we got as a gift and then the trailer looked truly awful. That said I have heard better then "why did I waste my time watching" so I might be up for it.

I've seen it so I won't give any spoilers. That said it was not as good as 6 or 7, but it was entertaining. Good amounts of comedy from The Rock and Tyrese and even Jason Statham. Great hand to hand combat scenes and cool cars. Yes it is entirely outlandish but that is the point.

Ok game time, let's pick a day. I'm good with Tuesday or Wednesday like Jake, so Ryan/DJ, any preferences/other days?
Theaters - AMC Worldgate 9 in Reston is my go-to but I know that might be a hike for Jake (?)
Worldgate times:
Tuesday/Wednesday:
6pm, 7pm
AMC Tyson's times:
Tuesday/Wednesday:
IMAX 2D - 4:40pm, 7:45pm
Dolby - 5:25pm, 8:30 pm
Regular - 6:15pm

Wednesday is better for me now - Worldgate is kinda sucktastic to get to after work. Could we do Tysons?
My vote would be Tysons on Wednesday at 6:15 - the 5:25 showing is probably pushing it.
