Voted today? Sound off! - JohnC - 11-02-2004

The other thread has devolved into bickering, so this is the place to sound off if you managed to make it to the polls today.

I voted this afternoon - got to the polling place around 4:15pm, home by 5:15pm. Lots of folks in line behind me, and they were telling people that it would be at least an hour wait at the end of the line.

absentee balot sent last week!

- Maengelito - 11-02-2004

i voted and got that little sticker. i want to change it to "I farted!"

- WRXtranceformed - 11-02-2004

absentee ballot = the win. I voted for the first time -_-

- Kaan - 11-02-2004

i voted absentee as well! and there isnt any bickering going on! Tongue

- Feersty - 11-02-2004

I voted absentee and this is my second time voting. Doesn't get any better than being born in 1982 or 1986. My brother turned 18 in August and he is also voting.

- Evan - 11-02-2004

I voted! Smile
I pulled into the school parking lot at 6:02am. The line was already around the building
Got home at 7:20am

- bluhayz - 11-02-2004

absentee ballot sent in a few days ago :-)

- white_2kgt - 11-02-2004

We got in line around 7:15, got home about 9:30, we walked across the street to the polling place and it was a MESS

Yeah, that. Smile

- Sijray21 - 11-02-2004

voted - had to go back to northern va to do it, took about 1.5 hrs in line

- ButtDyno - 11-02-2004

The whole A-K, L-Z thing kinda sucked. If they just printed out two copies of the lists they could multithread it a little more effectively. You would just need to centralize the "checking people off the list" function, which my poll station was doing. Shrug.

By the way does it surprise anyone that right now virginia is projected as 55-45 in bushes favor? I thought VA was much more republican than that...margin seems kinda close. Although it has only been what, an hour since it closed?

- PDenbigh - 11-02-2004

Voted @ 8am this morning, 5 minutes in line, then to work. Gotta love small town Harrisonburg!

- CaptainHenreh - 11-03-2004

voted.

I guess puff daddy isn't gonna come shoot me.

- Mike - 11-03-2004

damn, tight race... i love it. what needs to be relized is a lot of absentee ballots haven't been counted. those are typically more liberal vote (college students).

should be very very interesting.

oh yeah, i voted at 130 today, was back at work after waiting in the 5 person line in under half an hour Smile

- lyltoy - 11-03-2004

absentee ballot all the way, oh so easy and best of all NO lines

- Ryan T - 11-03-2004

Voted at about 2:15 today and waited in line for less than a minute.
