Evan and Chad.... what kinda camera do you guys use? cause i'm looking to equip the peice... or find another peice to track and equip it... i know RJ... hatchcrap! but a crx is a hatchcrap.

Mine was a Cannon ZR60. Very basic camera, about $300 + big battery. I repeat, it is a basic camera, any effects you want will have to be done on a PC. I picked the cheap one b/c of what I plan on putting it though.

B16B is a pretty nice engine however, i've ridden in a '94 coupe with it in it and that was pretty fast.

I use a JVC. Works well.
Features that are a must.
-MiniDV (anything else is old tech and poor quality)
-Remote (I wish mine had one, its a PITA to start and stop the camera when it is mounted
-Vibration reduction (I think all cameras have this now)
try to get a camera that is as compact as possible. A big camera will shake more.
But at the same time dont get a super expensive one, it probably wont last more than 2 or 3 years of track abuse.
Once you get it, get a wide angle lense. anywhere between .42x - .5x works well
Get the big battery
And try to only use 1 single brand of tapes.
Get a firewire card for your computer so you can directly transfer video instead of analog capture.

i actually owned a supercharged 5.0 once... i was young and stupid... blew it up... and never really looked back... though there is a shell of an 85 GT with Ttops i look at every now and then at my uncles farm in a HUGE garage to protect the paint (since it was only a month old paint job when she blew)... she's parked waiting for some dumbass to put a new heart in her... i doubt it will be him or me... so it will most likely be my little cousin. oh well.
