Forum Guidelines? - Mike - 10-04-2005 As a collegiate club, it is our duty to uphold the high moral standard of our university (haha yeah right). Anyway, some folks would like to see some guidelines put in to place to ensure the forum is not filtered by work firewalls. The best way I could figure it to use the parental advisory rating system we already have in the US ![]() This is just to get an idea on everyone's thoughts and by no means an attack on any one person or any one avatar. We have been discussing this issue in private for quite some time now. After the votes are tallied the officers and alumni will be discussing the results and you should be presented with some forum guidelines shortly thereafter. - white_2kgt - 10-04-2005 Very good my man, you get a PBR for the night, .RJ, the supply please
- ScottyB - 10-04-2005 although i voted and could leave it at that, i'd like to say that i think as long as R or X material is posted as a link (not a picture) and noted as not-work-safe, that is probably sufficient. i also think avatars should be posted with "good judgement", since they are always seen. - .RJ - 10-04-2005 white_2kgt Wrote:Very good my man, you get a PBR for the night, .RJ, the supply please ![]() Or if you prefer.....
- Ryan T - 10-04-2005 PG-13. No nudity, but censoring language on the forum is going too far. - Sijray21 - 10-04-2005 Ryan T Wrote:PG-13. No nudity, but censoring language on the forum is going too far. just as long as the language stays in the body of the thread. If i'm ever crusing on the forums at work i know i don't like to see a rediculous title. As for the newcomers, wouldn't want to deter people just because of one persons language or courtesy. - Ryan T - 10-04-2005 Agreed, no cursing in thread titles, but body posts is ok. But we should attempt to not make it a habit. - Mike - 10-04-2005 knob creek please! i'm surprised no votes for a daily porn thread yet... i wasn't sure you all could take anything seriously
- KPWSerpiente - 10-08-2005 I voted for the pron...even before reading your post Mike. Looks like your assumption that an MM thread couldn't stay serious is correct. -T - Feersty - 10-11-2005 I voted R. For type aaaaaR. - WRXtranceformed - 10-13-2005 I guess me and T are the only ones who voted for a pr0n section... lol. |
