Official Super Bowl Thread - Ryan T - 01-22-2006

Well, its down to two. Steelers vs. Seahawks. My prediction,

Steelers 27
Seahawks 14

Who are you rooting for?

- .RJ - 01-22-2006

Go skins!

- Maengelito - 01-23-2006

wooo go hines ward and the steelers, my half korean brotha

- CaptainHenreh - 01-23-2006

Because I hate PA football teams (or rather, the fans of said teams) I'm going to root for the 'hawks.

To be honest, I'm just sitting here going, "What the FUCK!?! Fucking Seattle in the fucking SUPERBOWL!? That's like the punchline of a fucking JOKE."

- Myuki - 01-23-2006

Seattle is playing very well, and Alexander is unstoppable. kthnx. Seattle will win. Or should. It won't be a blow out, either it will be high scoring by both teams or low scoring. It will be good nonetheless.

- JohnC - 01-23-2006

Steelers, in a blowout.

- JustinG - 01-23-2006

steelers by 3

agreed, i also want the Seahawks to win and blow them out, just to say that the Skins gave them the best fight of the playoffs and that we lost to the Superbowl Champions.

- .RJ - 01-23-2006

Who's having a super bowl party?

- D_Eclipse9916 - 01-23-2006

I hope steelers win, otherwise I am going to get killed by some good friends that are hardcore steelers fans.....Who knew people could give so much about a game with a ball thrown back and forth?

They played like shit against the skins. Alexander was "stopped"
Skins just happened to play like bigger shit

Im not a steelers fan, so i guess ill root for the hawks. I dont think they have a chance though

they still won. Did you see he carolina vs ny game??? Carolina shut down the Giants. Shut them out. And Seattle ha dno problem with them, except for a few plays. I believe in the middle of the third, Seattle had only given up 19 yards rushing. They also pulled 3 picks from the air. the super bowl is going to come down to running and takeaways.

- ScottyB - 01-23-2006

i'll root for seattle. being a philly fan, i just can't root for the steelers.

Carolina was overrated. They had no running game, an injured D line, and a one dimensional attack. Seattle took Smith out of the game, and thus took the panthers out of the playoffs. Incase you didnt notice, the steelers D is quite good against the run, and Alexander is overrated anyway (look at the teams the hawks played this year).

In a game like this, Id put my money on who has the best D, and the best QB (because in games like these it more than often comes down to a timely pick). Given, both D's are pretty good. Big ben or hassleback? Ill choose big ben anyday.
