Gauging interest: Subwoofer setup for STi! - WRXtranceformed - 10-08-2006
Sup guys!
I'm gauging interest on this, because I'm still debating whether I want install this stuff, because my STi might be going a stripped out route in the future.
I have an Evolution Auto custom-built carpeted 10" sub enclosure for the STi. It's designed to fit perfectly inside the driver's side wheel well in the trunk. Mounted in it is a brand new 10" Alpine Type R subwoofer, which has only been hooked up once to test it. It sounds LOUD in this sealed box. I was honestly really surprised how loud it was hah... it's supposedly one of the better 10" subs out there.
To power it I have a refurbished Orion 600W amp. This setup is basically all ready to go into an STi... and like I said I'm still debating whether I want to put it in, considering the direction I'm going with the project now and how little I drive the car.
