wtf is a DTS? I can't make head or tails of where that thing goes or what it does, and I'm too lazy to look it up.

- BLAIR - 10-27-2006

drive train stabalizer.. goes under the trans and mounts to body.. kinda like an additional trans mount.

heres a pic

The AWE Tuning Drive Train Stabilizer (DTS) eliminates the excessive engine and transmision torsional movement found in these vehicles. The results are phenomenal throttle response, crisper and more precise shifts, and more power to the ground.

bj and i agree, that vent gauge is money.

Wasn't it you who told me it was ghetto 'cause it went in the vent?

I see no price for either.

- BLAIR - 10-27-2006

$150 for boost gauge setup
$225 for stabalizer

- ScottyB - 10-28-2006

sorry to hear about your friend's car! hope he's alright. what year is it?

i'd love the DTS but it's not feasible for me right now Cry and yeah, the vent setup is killer, but the price is why i went with my DIY vent-delete setup.

Blair, is he parting anything else out or is it scrapped? depending on what year it is i am always keeping an eye out for parts.

DIY is ghetto. a nice piece like that is not.

Is the guage as shown with red needle and white face? I've been eyeing one of these for a long time but the A4 scheme is pretty much opposite of my interior.

Details of the accident? Are we sure that it didn't damage the DTS?

- BLAIR - 10-28-2006

yea im sure.. it was a front end hit.. wasnt even that bad.. we were all very surprised the car was totalled.. airbags didnt even go. ill double check on the color of the gauge lighting.. i know they have a few different options

- BLAIR - 10-28-2006

just talked to him.. the gauge is all red..

we're not all on college budgets. i prefer an extra hundred bucks and great fit/finish to something i did in my garage.

Should I be scared you know that?

Figures, I was just there last weekend. I'm definitely interested but I'm feeling particular lazy today to try and make arrangements to see it.
