Currently shopping for a textile jacket to better deal with the cold - Dragon - 11-20-2006 Yup - JohnC - 11-20-2006 If I have to leave for work before dawn, then I usually take the lunchbox. If I have the luxury of commuting during daylight hours, then definitely the bike. - Apoc - 11-20-2006 I pretty much stopped commuting when it became longer to gear up then get to work so I guess that puts me in the "No" column. RJ's only riding because the newness of his bike hasn't worn off yet. - stevegula - 11-21-2006 Apoc Wrote:I pretty much stopped commuting when it became longer to gear up then get to work so I guess that puts me in the "No" column. haha honestly I respect that. I only ride in the best of conditions these days or when I want to park right next to the door. - Ginger - 11-22-2006 I never thought I'd say this... but it's just getting too damn cold. If it's below 40* when I've got to go somewhere I'm probably taking the car. - Dragon - 11-22-2006 It was certainly chilly last night when I rode home from work. Thankfully I have a short commute so it's not all that bad. - Apoc - 11-22-2006 asteele2 Wrote:I never thought I'd say this... but it's just getting too damn cold. His jeans was soaked and he didn't look like he was enjoying the ride. It was raining heavily at the time and the traffic he was in, was moving about 20 mph.
