A couple questions
1. Is it a 1st or 2nd gen box? - does it have HDMI hook ups?
2. has it ever been sent back to Microsoft for repairs?
3. what does "everything" include?
4. is it a core or a premium box?

3. whatever the box comes with, i believe one controller and all that comes in the box. there might be an extra controller somewhere.
4. i believe it is core, and will find out.
i used it for a media center like 3 times. never played a game on it.

I am interested, but I know nothing of home theater, etc. So you say this 360 does not have HDMI capability (which is a cable to be used with an HDTV, correct?)...can you buy a kit or something to make it capable? Or will it forever be unusable with an HDTV? Thanks.

You can still use component cables for up to 1080i (Maybe p, I dunno) but it's just that HDMI is mo betta cuz it's digital.

So 1080i is the highest definition you can get on a standard TV, but say you then buy an HDTV, can you buy some sort of HDMI output kit for the 360 to make it compatible, or is that not possible? I'm also supposing that NIB 360's these days come with HDMI capability?

FWIW, my 360 has HDMI and I don't use it. I'm on component at 1080i and I don't have any complaints.

Standard def is 480i. You won't be able to see anything greater than that on a regular TV but the 360 will output at that until you get a better TV. You can use the component connection to get 720p or 1080i on your HDTV or the HDMI to get 1080p. Not all HDTVs support 1080p.

you can also use a vga kit for the 360.
