Wearable Motorcycle? - WRXtranceformed - 09-03-2008 What say you? My buddy showed me this concept video, I figured you guys had probably seen this already but I thought it was kind of cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmHkj6nD-DU - Apoc - 09-03-2008 It looks pretty stupid, if you ask me. It's like a really bad take on a mech suit or something. - Sijray21 - 09-03-2008 why can i not get Tron out of my head now? - BLINGMW - 09-03-2008 hadn't seen THAT video of it, but I'm firmly on the "never going to happen" bench. Not only because it'd be horribly expensive, but I don't even get how it'd be any more useful than a regular, and much cheaper, motorcycle. Doesn't seem to have any advantages. :dunno: - PGK - 09-03-2008 At a quick glance it doesn't seem to have any provision for altering the length/angle of the "arms" which hold the front wheels. They move back and forth to alter wheelbase, but they don't seem to lean, which makes steering problematic at best. seems like a silly excuse for some CGI and some overtly dramatic music and beep-beep sound effects. |
