1/2" torque wrench - balactm - 03-17-2009 anyone in the JMU area have a 1/2" drive torque wrench for up to 150 ft/lbs? I'm replacing my half shaft and need to torque it to 134...if no one does i'm just going to buy one from sears but i'd prefer to borrow one since i only need it once... - BLINGMW - 03-17-2009 eh, just use a 1 ft breaker bar and put most of your weight on it. Precisely 135ft/lbs. disclaimer: I have no idea how much you weigh :dunno: Honestly though, you'll probably end up within 10% and that's quite good enough. - NTIman - 03-17-2009 BLINGMW Wrote:eh, just use a 1 ft breaker bar and put most of your weight on it. Most of the car fell apart later... but the nuts were still on and tight. - .RJ - 03-17-2009 1/2" IR impact gun for 3-4 seconds once nut is seated
