MB club Autocross MillBrook High School - D_Eclipse9916 - 09-02-2009
As stated DC region of MB club is having their autocross MillBrook High School, next to Summit Point. Registration is open to anyone and is on the day of the event there. It is September 13th I beleive, so the weekend after next. I will be going along with Mike D'Amico. It is half the distance between NOVA and JMU, so maybe we can get some newbies out autocrossing? I will have loaner helmets available nice and clean for those that need them, and a small assortment of tools along with a Camera mount for cars. I figure I cant make it any easier for you guys to come autocross, so get your butts out there.
This is a SMALLLL FIELD!!! So lots of runs and you get out way early, plus your chance to feel superior to the half field of 80's S classes autocrossing :lol:

Their website also says they are having an autocross on Sept. 6th that was rescheduled! I may come out and try my hand at both days.
I also have a family member considering coming out, but wants to know if they require a rollbar for convertibles.

The R6s wont heat up in time, and I dont have em mounted to any wheels. If you buy the 17x9s, they will come with the r6s
PS- Registration is on location at the event, no pre-registration.
Edit: thanks for reminding me, my track wheel setup came in for the m3, gotta mount it and figure out what spacer im going to need in the front.

I'm running a 7mm, but a 10mm will work too. I have a set of 12s if you wanna try those, probably gonna need a lot more camber though.

Let me know if your up for some test fitting friday or next week. OR if I can borrow those 12mm from ya to see if they will do the trick I have -3 camber so no problem with camber here
. Gotta order some vorschlag studs so I am not sure if they will make it in time.

Holy crap, we might have good MM showing on this. Anybody need anything? Please let me know. I can bring jacks, bleeding equipment etc...
Jake is there a way you could bring up at least 3 white MM stickers, I have only once collected an MM sticker so I think im due for a few, and I can pay my dues if your coming.

Sure thing - I'll be at the one on the 13th. We are waiting on the stickers but they are supposed to be done today or tomorrow.

And get this! Summit Point Karts is open till 9pm that night and is only 5 minutes away from millbrook high school! I will be trying to gather some people in for karting as typically you get done way early with these. SPK karts are ridiculously quick compared to regular karts so get your fix!

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum! Friend of mine told me about this event and I want to know, before I make an ass of myself, can any car enter this event? I dont want to enter my AE86 if this is really a Porsche/BMW event or something.
I dont want anyone saying "WTF is THAT car doing here?!"
Please let me know, this might be my first auto-x event and I have been trying to find one local.
