Hotel confirmation updated. So far I have Matt and Keith in the room. Keith in the bed and Matt on my nice air mattress. I'll bring my big RTIC cooler for people's shit if they need to store it and keep it cool. I'll bring a bag of ice and "water" for the children.
For sure looking forward to this event. First big tow, first time being on track in awhile in HPDE, and a decent amount of students are coming!
All my stuff is prepped and I put the NASA sticker on my new truck so I guess shit's getting serious now.
I'll have a cooler and a few camp chairs in my trailer. I don't have a good folding table so if anyone happens to have one they can bring along, please do. Otherwise we will be good without.
Should be arriving on Thursday evening around 6:00!
Now:
'16 Ram 1500 | '97 BMW M3 | Some Press Loan
Then:

Whatever y'all are doing to have this many people coming to the first event, keep it up.

Also is there an All black MM sticker?
Remember kiddos:
1. Drink lots of water.
2. Keep drinking water.
3. Don't study too hard at night. None of us adults want to have to be your study buddy. If you do get too into your textbooks, we'll probably shove you off on Maeng and the Honda boys because they'll have studied just as much as you.
Seriously, bring lots of water or a reusable cup/water bottle. By 5, if you haven't been shoving water in your gullet all day, you're gonna feel like ass and not want to do anything at night.
Best,
Zach

Seriously.
What a great weekend! We had 10+ students out there working and spectating, and even a few driving! We had lots of fun piling into Jake's new trailer to promptly ruin it and make it smell like a frat house. Students got lots of ride alongs, some worked for the first time, and they all ran around like kids on a playground. The rain Saturday put a damper on things, but I still went out to play in the GTI. Thanks, Sean for having confidence in me (and my all seasons). Saturday night was fun with everyone hanging out in the room and a few of us exploring in the snow after midnight. Laura emailed us early Sunday to get staff out on track to dry it off after a few inches of snow so I cleared my car off with a beer bong and took a few people out. After the fog cleared, the weather was beautiful. I got to run around and be useful where I saw fit in between my DE1 sessions and overall had a great day.
Ended up leaving around 6:30 and had a scary moment on the drive home with how tired I became suddenly. Took a nap at a sheetz, chugged a red bull, and bombed home to arrive around 1 AM. Great weekend!
