Interest in scenic drive tomorrow - now 9/29!!!?

Anyone interested in scenic drive tomorrow? Like sometime after 5, but before movie time? I dont normally get to make it to most of the scenic drives, but tomorrow, i have nothing doing....all those in favor....

Wednesday: A mainly sunny sky. Warm. High around 80F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.

I'll be down in Hburg in two weekends, I'd be up for a scenic drive. I'm going to try to procure a new set of tires for the 5Zigens beforehand though, it got a little hairy with the stockers on the last drive.

Evan, are you still up for a trip down with me? I'm sure you can crash at my gf's crib.

If that is the case, then you guys really need to reduce the pace of these "scenic drives". Its great to go cruise up the mountain at a brisk pace, but when things like this start happening you're going to fast - it only takes one incident to shut down the club permanently if parents/university gets wind of that. They're a great thing to get the club together and have some fun, but it shouldnt be an excuse to go rip your car up the mountain. Even if you are by yourself and something happened (even if its not your fault - wild life, debris/fluids on road) and MM was dragged into it, it wouldnt be a fun ride.

Nah, we weren't driving like asshats at all. On the last drive we were behind a minivan and some big SUVs on both the way up and way back.

On one turn I can think of in particular, the wheels came real close to breaking loose because I braked late. I'm not used to performance driving on these stock tires since I haven't driven on them in months, the STI stockers of Maeng's that I was running before the flat would have handled it no prob. After that turn I just had to recalculate and brake a little more beforehand.

Bah, id love to do this tommorow. I have a meeting at 6 before the movie, but this whole week has just been amazing weather, so if it stays tommorow im definitly down. Ill be out of class at 5 tommorow, so anytime after that if you wanna go im in.
