I was able to chat with him for 5 minutes at the NYAS last year. He had made a quick appearance to chat with the owners of Manhattan Motor Cars and shortly before leaving for his flight, popped out onto the floor. I was too starstruck to really think of some good questions to ask him. Really welcoming dude!

Pretty obvious? it's a twin turbo V8 coupled to a giant electric motor?

Didn't get how the lack of transmission was going to work, but now I understand that's exactly what it sounds like. Damn 1100HP engine is pretty much locked in overdrive, with what sounds like a torque converter, and some electric motors help get you off the line, as well as do some other fancy stuff at speed. Nuts. :thumbup:
