actually it's about the same up near alexandria...$2.90 for 93 octane is the lowest i found, 2.70 or 2.80 for 87.....

i get about 28 mpg on the highway (which is the environment i commute in) but realistically with all the stop/go traffic at 9 in the morning i'm getting more like low 20's. if i really stomp on it my gas gauge plummets. i freaking hate Jen's explorer, i literally have to give it some throttle just to hold a constant speed down hill. in town, it'll use a half a tank in an afternoon if you aren't frugal with the acceleration.
my general rules to get the most out of a tank is that i don't make abrupt throttle/gas movements (hard to do in atl) and if i see a red light ahead, i'll coast the whole way in gear instead of braking once i'm there.
oh yeah, last time i filled up from 1/4 tank it took like 33 bucks.

I haven't filled up from empty in a long time. I filled up from just below half a tank the other day and it costs $23. I usually fill up once a week and it usually costs about $10.

my commute is 44 miles each way and the E30 is getting about 25 mpg if I behave so it is nearly 10.00/day and I work 4 10 hour days so that helps.
We had a guy quit yesterday because he had a 175 mile (yep!) round trip in a chevy full size P/U = 30.00/day in gas

Fill up the WRX once a week (or more if we've travelled on the weekends). Usually about $35/tank of 93.
Fill up the truck about once a month. Haven't done so in a while, so I'm sure it's coming up. From empty is easily $75. Argh.
Z gets filled up a few times around every track event. Blah.
Bike gets 50 mpg easily. Need to start actually commuting on this thing. Jess needs leathers too 8)
