I was just kicking around some ideas for the Geeser II's race livery and it made me think about a bunch of my favorite race car paint schemes. I'll post some of mine and I encourage you guys to look for some and post yours

i'm a big fan of DTM paintjobs, as well as JGTC. here are some of my favorites in no particular order:

taisan starcard 911, simple yet catchy:


the original teile CLK DTM, had to mention this just for the insane detail in the decals:


one of my newer faves, the xanavi skyline JGTC:

i also like just about anything sponsored by martini, such as the porsche 935 whale tail or the alfa romeo 155 BTCC racecar. sorry for the long post, racecars just look so freakin cool.

haha hey, look at that! Now I like it even more. Wow, look how different the "orange" is. I think in reality it's much closer to the first pic, but much more vibrant than either.




and of course, don't forget the BMW art cars (MAYBE not practical for a club racer who repairs with duct tape, but I bet some art students would love to paint a car):

Since I haven't really been following racing due to lack of Speedvision and time, I can't say that I have much input in this area.

Gulf is classic... hands down... i do like the paint and graphics on the supra though... its more modern ... but nothing beats the MM gold/yellow and black 8)

Saw one (or a replica, I have no idea) driving down Main Street in Purcellville, I think it was this Monday. Not knowing what it was at first glance, I immediately thought "RICE!", but now I know better... Maybe.
