Just one day, probably my last event this year. My coworker and I are signed up. It's a great little track for beginners or those with project bikes that need a shakedown. And NESBA gets you about all the track time you can handle in a day, usually 6 20 min sessions.
For those who don't know, NESBA offers two free sessions for those who have never run with them before. No bike prep needed for that. Of course, it may not be worth the trip for that, but that's your call.
Since we're 2 hours from the track, I won't be getting a hotel, so if someone would like to stay with us, we could probably work that. If it's a couple people, come down friday, hey, party time.

Is patriot small enough for a supermoto? My knee isn't healed up enough to let me ride my sportbikercycle.
When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.

I'm sure it is, my GS isn't likely any faster than that

I'm not actually worried about speed.. I don't really care if I'm 50mph down on gofast; but sumos don't have the front end grip for big, fast turns. Jefferson was really doing a number on me, and I wouldn't want anything more 'open' than that.

Also, I've never run NESBA - will they let me sign up in intermediate without going through a lot of hoopla?

ah ok, well, Patriot is pretty much VIR's Jefferson, I don't think any of the corners are any faster than it.

You know, RJ had a time getting them to move him out of beginner, but I'm pretty sure I remember them saying last weekend that you could sign up for intermediate without running with them before.

If you lap the field twice in the same 20 minute session, you can move up. Until then, you're not carrying enough corner speed, on a track without any straights. True story.

That's the rule, are you freaking kidding me?

No, thats not the rule. It just felt that way when I was trying to get bumped up. Then i got bumped up, did 2 sessions and then crashed
