Guilty pleasures... you know you've got them!

Alright so I know every one of you has a few things that you're totally into that you know your boys / friends / significant others would give you shit for if they knew or already give you shit for. We're all friends here so I'm going to go first:

1. Mariah Carey. Yes, I fucking love this girl's music and I don't know why. Especially dance remixes. I heard one again on XM and I felt it move a little down there.

2. Star Trek. TNG above all else. Yes, I DVR it even though I've seen every episode 6 times.

3. White Zinfandel. I feel so weird drinking something pink but I don't care. My girlfriend (Ducati Girl if you all remember the Ducati thread) has gotten me into it... especially the Charles Shaw $3/bottle variety!

I've probably got some others but that's all I can think of for now. How about you all??

Haha nah they were not really dating at the time. They were hanging out for a few months before that but weren't ever serious.

I'll give you the Star Trek TNG, thats a great show. I'll admit I like the Charles Shaw wines but not the White Zinfandel. I like the Chardonay and the Shiraz and for $3 a bottle, not bad. I'm gonna have to give you the big fail on the Mariah Carey though, sorry bud.

wow you're really being left out to dry here!

FWIW, I will drink the shit out of some charles shaw anything. At $2 or $3/bottle, that white zin, along with everything else, is great to me. And I live 4 hours from Trader Joe's, I have to get friends to bring me cases. Nothing wrong with sweet wine. Beats Mad Dog!

I can't really come up with other things I'm "into"... but here are some other things to make fun of me for:
small dogs (Shi tzus, Maltese) > big dogs
slow cars > fast cars
I like classical music and singing in church
I do enjoy tea time
I don't follow sports at all. Bleh. Hardly even auto/bike racing.

Another Star Trek fan here (my favorite was Voyager actually).

I also take pleasure in listening to bluegrass music.

And what is wrong with a fine box of wine??
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

Agree on following sports at all, itd be hard for me to name even a lot of nfl teams.
I do enjoy tea (picked this up in China) and classical music
If im not having a busy week ill kill a few hours dominating the universe in Master of Orion 2, I love strategy games (god girls hate this, im sorry I dont have time to hear your drama blah blah blah, I got some aliens to kill)

I guess I too will throw myself under the bus...

I'll second the classical music. Really helps with relaxation and it does help me study as well.

There are a few beers I like, but above all I'll take a bottled IBC root beer over anything.

Instead of tea or coffee, I drink Swiss Caotina chocolate milk. I'm a huge connoisseur when it comes to chocolate milk, and I just had my mom (yep) send me a box from over yonder, can't find it in the US except for specialty importers.

My shows (DJ in 3..2..), I have to watch my shows. I used to watch Smallville a lot, haven't kept up with the latest season. Obsessively watch others like House and the Office since they began. I'll shun you in between commercial breaks, and I strongly disallow any other intrusions.

Also don't follow sports. Football very slightly, but I'll sit and watch a F1 race when I can. In fact this year was the only in which I knew the MLB world series was occurring when it did (who won?)

Movies...pretty typical action/thriller/suspense fan. But, back in '05, I was dragged into seeing Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice in theaters (never read the book) and I thought it was a fantastic movie. I even have it on DVD now.
