WTB/rent Tactrix Cable

looking to mess around with some tuning stuff, but only for a short time. i need the an Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 cable, shown here:

basically i won't be using it too long and i'd rather not blow $200 on a cable. any suby guys use this thing? if you want to unload one throw me a price, or better yet, i'll pay for your shipping and a rental fee/or buy you a case of your favorite beer to use it for a month or two, then send it back.

Never used one on my Subies. Does Cobb make an AP for the 2.5RS? Would it even be worth shelling out the cash for one?

I have the older 1.3 version. I was planning on doing a turbo swap this month on the Wrx but I'm leaning more towards concentrating on getting a bike instead so I probably won't be using it much for a month or sot. Will the 1.3 version work for you?

they just released an AP recently. its really not worth it, unfortunately.

Adam, maybe you can help me with this. if i'm understanding this right, the 2.0 cable is only necessary with the CANbus cars correct? and those cars are basically all 2007+?

i've been looking over the romraider/ecuflash info and don't see anything that says i can't use the 1.3.

Im pretty sure you're right about that. My friend has used it on his 06 Baja so I know it works on 06 an older at least. I know the 08's require the new cable but i'm not positive about 07s.

Basically, 1.3 will work for you since you have an 05 haha

Not that I know of, mine is just the 1.3 version and I'm not positive but I think you need specific Mitsu connectors for mine to work.

as in, that will work with Mitsu connectors or as in even if it was a 2.0 i'd still need connectors?
