This is probably not anything you guys would like, but it might interest your parents. I need to move this out of the garage to fund an autocross car project.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend. The car is more of a cruiser than a racer. I think of MM'ers as a performance minded group.

The Mustang would have to run in ESP and it is much too fat and flexible for that. I autocrossed it a couple of times and quickly realized it was the wrong tool for the job. The car has earned a bunch of car show trophies including a Best of Show Modified in Richmond.

As for the autox project...I've done 4 seasons in the Mini (9 in low power fwd cars) and I'm really just ready to do something different. This season I've gotten a taste of a CSP Miata, a Z06 Corvette, a Steeda Mustang, and a Honda S2000. I'd like more of something like that... rear drive with some power. The 2007 Mustang Shelby GT is the current FStock "it" car and that is within reach if I can sell my current Mustang along with the Mini. An S2000 set up for the new STR class is also a possibility. Who knows, it is all in the dreaming stage for now.

I dunno Ray, I'd bet some of the guys running in the American Iron NASA series could find you ways of stiffening the chassis and losing it some pounds. When said you had an "older" Mustang that was too flexible for autocross I didn't think you meant a Foxbody. I can understand though not wanting to tear into a showcar. Good luck with the sale, it's getting harder and harder to find these that haven't been beaten to death by Mulletheads.
