eBay FTW, just sold 3 moto jackets on there.

Ok so I recieved the jacket I ordered yesterday, but I have a question for you guys. I went to colemans and tried on a few jackets, and used that size that fit best for a few others for the jacket I just ordered (since they didnt have it there). However when I put the jacket on yesterday it seemed a bit loose, esp arround the stomach area, and that was with the waist adjusted as small as I could get it. Now I had a friend with me helping with sizing before, but he's away for a while, and Im still not exactly sure how tight the jacket should be, so im curious if you guys had any tips on sizing it myself. Im essentially debating whether to exchange it for a smaller size or not. So, any tips?

Mine probably fits you. It should be snug generally, but not cutting off circulation and still giving you good range of motion.

I dunno, its just a bit weird, because the size I ordered originally corresponded to like between a xl/xxl in the jacket that I bought. I didnt think much of it at the time, but in hindsight I guess I should have looked. Im pretty sure im gonna go back and order something two sizes smaller, which corresponds to about a L, which I am.

When ordering motorcycle jackets, most people order a size or so larger than they should.

If you zip the jacket up all the way, try grabbing it around the zipper, making a fist (with a fistful of jacket) and twisting your wrist. You shouldn't be able to pull much of the jacket away from your body.

How much $ did you save by ordering online vs. ordering from Coleman? Did Coleman have what you wanted?

Coleman could have ordered what I wanted however they were charging 50 more. Ill give what you said a shot. The only real part that feels somewhat lose is the lower area arround my lower back. The chest feels fine, along with the arms.

Ill try what you said.

This is why I hate ordering online. $50 is a good amount, but at what price the inconvenience of sitting around waiting for a jacket whose fit you're unsure of? I ordered my ICON online in M, of course it was too big. I had to send it back and pay the guy a $25 restocking fee. I also wasted a month waiting for the jackets to get sent back and forth.

Which jacket did you get?

TZ1.

New Enough doesnt have any restocking fees, and will send you another size of whatever you order and not charge you anything, just send the one that doesnt fit back.

Wow, thanks. I found something on there that really caught my eye.
