i've read of viper owners who complain of drivetrain lash in traffic -- is that not the gearset, but rather motor/tranny mounts?

If you are feeling clunking and thunking from the drivetrain it is an NVH issue through the mountschassis flexibility, etc....

There's nothing to "obviously" figure out. There is no slack to take up anywhere, and if there is excessive clearance then you have bigger issues.

Everything's engaged. All the time. Gears are constantly meshed, in the trans, in the center diff, in the rear diff, etc.

....................metal bends through the driveshaft, joints, axles...twisting...There is tons of slack in a drivetrain, dont show a picture of a tranny...But if you like being anal, There are "slack" between the gears and the machine tolerances are not perfect. But what I was tlaking about was connections between axles, hubs, driveshafts, joints.

Koenigs? Ahhh dont ever say that again....they are nice 5zigens FN01RC...lightweight...Ill forgive you...this time lol. I have to pick up my replacement 5zigen in harrisonburg hopefully this weekend, and ill have em on maybe next week,.we will see.

Good rims. I had a set on my WRX and my brother has a set of black with the chrome lip on his Lancer. They're light but bend pretty easy, you just have to watch where you're driving.

Hahahah I already destroyed one, I was running them for 8 months. Till at night, in a place I didnt know with Adam giving directions, and it was the worst night of the snowstorm....Those did not mix and boom hit the curb, didnt even see it there.

Sorry....5zigens...I always thought they were koenigs....in fact I think I've been calling them koenigs ever since I saw them haha.
