And, frankly, if I have to have "good" anything for it to be in the least palatable, I ain't interested. 5 dollars at 5 guys gets me a pretty good burger, while 12 dollars at (for example because I was there last night) Matchbox gets me a pretty fucking good burger.
But you know, I don't need the 12 dollar burger to appreciate the 5 dollar one.
I will say this though, I think a lot of little mom and pop ethnic food restaurants end up not being particularly good because the people who start them were not cooks in the first place. And they don't make much effort to improve from there. Then again, that's probably why they stay small mom and pop places.

I used to love it, but the quality of the place has gone down recently. I used to love their sliders, but last I had them they were extremely sub-par. I do love their shrimp and grits though.

I didn't take any girl to the track, so must've been someone else. I am thinking of bringing her to the Turducken party. She's only met one or two of my friends, indirectly..I'm not sure how that is really supposed to go down when it's a girl from the interwebs..is that the elephant in the room?

Well yeah. Her ex cheated on her multiple times and they're definitely not getting back together... they're going through mediation right now leading up to their divorce next year.

For her yes...as a civillian it isn't really going to matter unless she has children she doesn't want to lose custody of.

lol @ all the topics in this thread. I say it depends on how you look at it for that girl..its probably not cheating to the state, but if she's catholic for example, the church won't divorce her probably.
Ole - Alan? My name is Derek. I did help you take a motor out that time (i live near summit pt.) but it must not have been me at the other thing..its been a while since I have been to the track.
Guess that's true about the interwebs for everything. Found my house and roommate there, have sold multiple cars there...probably not so bad after all. Though, she didn't tell anyone on her side..at least not yet. She claims that her sisters and such would have flipped out and not let her go because of the probably higher danger level the female half has in meeting a guy from the 'net. She said she didn't expect it'd matter anyway, but here we are two months later
