WTB...pos - ultimagtrlover - 11-10-2006 Just curious if anyone has a reliable daily driver available for about $500...it must be stick and have clearcoat. Please post here if there's one available. - Andy - 11-10-2006 Shit. How set are you on clearcoat cause my beater 240sx has NONE but fits the other two criteria. - ScottyB - 11-10-2006 The Jeff/Nick duo could find you a cheap TD or E30 within 15 minutes i bet - ultimagtrlover - 11-10-2006 Sorry Andy...I need clearcoat so that I can make the paint look good for reselling purposes...Jeff, Nick, if you can please find something for me. - CaptainHenreh - 11-10-2006 '88 Chrysler LeBaron, 200 bucks. Driven daily, needs work: 540-294-3916 540-280-3015 - ultimagtrlover - 11-10-2006 Some more info about my willingness to buy... I might not have my Crossfire starting after Thanksgiving break, or, it will be going back home and staying in NY after winter break. I am not completely sure if I want a beater car, but having options to look at would be great. The $200 car sounds good...I will put this on my list. How many miles on the car? I would like to be at 150,000 (less is best). Great fuel economy is important too, as well as, once again, fully function clearcoat and a manual tranny. All wheel/4-wheel drive and trackability would be nice too, but i will definitely sacrifice trackability (autocross) for reliability and fuel economy. - Nick325is - 11-10-2006 ScottyB Wrote:The Jeff/Nick duo could find you a cheap TD or E30 within 15 minutes i bet The saturday night live skit comes to mind after reading this  Only e30s I know of now close to that price range are 1000-1500. -Nick Who is not either member of the ambigiously gay duo - D_Eclipse9916 - 11-11-2006 Your looking for some damn good criteria for 500 bucks. Expand it to 1000 and I Think youll like the results much better. Almost nothing at 500 is not going to need work. Oh and Andy, I have asked you to send me details and pictures on that 240 - ultimagtrlover - 11-11-2006 Some pics on the 240 just 4 fun would be nice too. Please send to xxultimagtr@yahoo.com. Thanx DJ...alright, $1000 or somewhere near that price. Preferably cheaper though. I don't mind paying a little more for more reliability and lower miles on a vehicle. - ViPER1313 - 11-12-2006 My friends SHO - $600 89' Taurus SHO, 5 speed manual, 202k miles. Car starts, runs and drives great and has been completely reliable over the course of the past year since I bought it. Clean title and Carfax report, passed MD inspection April of this year. New radiator, inner / outer tie rod ends, battery, front motor mount, front swaybar end links, axles / CV joints. All fluids flushed beginning of this year. Car comes with a 2nd set of rims and tires for free. - Andy - 11-12-2006 D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:Your looking for some damn good criteria for 500 bucks.
